Rose-Colored Glasses
Wearing this scarf is like draping yourself in the essence of a summer day at the Duluth rose garden. Its swirling, dazzling pattern evokes the enchantment of a floral wonderland. The silk scarf base boasts a colorful teardrop pattern that dances harmoniously across the fabric. Complementary hues of pink and purple merino wool weave through the silk, creating a rich and textured canvas. As if plucked from the garden itself, the scarf is adorned with silk, viscose and bamboo embellishments reminiscent of blooming flowers. The fringe of soft wool curly locks explodes in a spectrum of colors. It sways gently, mimicking the gentle rustling of leaves and petals in the breeze.
The fabric is created through the nuno wet felting process, which combines silk fabric with fine layers of merino wool, novelty yarn, bamboo, silk and colorful embellishments, resulting in a lightweight yet durable textile, rich in color and texture.
