This scarf explodes with the excitement of the first days of spring, when the daffodils bloom by the house and the tree buds magically appear. Eager green grass springs to attention, which means in a few short weeks we will have the instant gratification of mowing the lawn. The fun leaves on the scarf edges captures the subtle but powerful beauty of early spring, with the purple fringe and embellishments representing the stalwart irises. The fabric is created through the nuno wet felting process, which combines fine layers of merino wool and bits of bamboo, silk and colorful embellishments.

Inspired by the first signs of spring in northern Minnesota.

  • Dimensions: 52 inches by 11 inches wide; with fringe 68 inches long by 11 inches wide.
  • Fibers: 100% green patterned silk fabric, combined with fine layers of complementary shades of green, yellow, gold, purple and white merino wool.
  • Fringe and embellishments include silk and bamboo fibers; wool locks; and angelina fibers.
