SOLD at the 2021 Duluth Womans Club Fall Bazaar

This one-of-a-kind neck scarf captures the deep shades of fall in the northland. Shades of burgundy, purple, gold and magenta blend into a kaleidoscope of rich colors. The fabric is created through the nuno wet felting process, which combines silk fabric with fine layers of merino wool, novelty ladder yarn, bamboo, silk and colorful embellishments.

The video and photos at the bottom of this description show how the design looked before starting the magical wet felting process.

Inspired by the amazing color display each fall as the leaves change across the northland.

  • Dimensions: 62 inches long by 11 inches wide (78 by 11 inches with fringe).
  • Fibers: 100% burgundy silk scarf, combined with fine layers of complementary shades of red, orange, burgundy, green and gold merino wool.
  • Fringe and embellishments include silk and bamboo fibers; specialty and novelty yarn; and angelina fibers.
