Butterflies exploring in a northland garden is literally captured in this unique, lightweight neck scarf. The butterfly appliqués on the edges of the scarf give way to a garden path that weaves through the scarf. The scarf is reversible. The fabric is created through the nuno wet felting process, which combines silk fabric with fine layers of merino wool and bamboo, silk, novelty ladder yarn and colorful embellishments.

The photos at the bottom of this description show you how the design looked before starting the magical wet felting process.

Inspired by the butterflies that light up our gardens each year.
