Carpet of Leaves
This one-of-a-kind neck scarf is a stunner and screams fall! Those precious weeks of swirling leaves that delight us with their deep, rich tones. Look at the photographs closely. Wool leaves flow off the scarf, signifying the forest floor, with the other side a fall garden, printed on the silk fabric. A bead embellishment enhances one end, with silk strips capturing the light that filters through the leaf palette. The scarf is reversible. The fabric is created through the nuno wet felting process, which combines silk fabric with fine layers of merino wool and beads, bamboo, silk and colorful embellishments.
Inspired by the amazing color display each fall as the leaves change through the glorious fall in the Duluth area.
