This shawl reminds me of carefree summer days, when the most pressing thing to do is watering the garden. The explosive abstract design is inspired by the stunning gardens that envelop us each summer. This lightweight wrap also works well as a scarf. Reversible, both sides are bright, happy and fun. No matter your age during the Summer of Love, wearing this scarf will take you to San Francisco's Haight-Ashbury neighborhood. The fabric is created through the nuno wet felting process, which combines silk fabric with fine layers of merino wool and bits of bamboo, silk and colorful embellishments.

Inspired by the brilliance of summer gardens in Duluth and the dream of future travel adventures.

  • Dimensions: 64 inches long by 12 inches wide; with fringe 74 inches by 12 inches.
  • Fibers: 100% tie dye silk chiffon fabric, combined with fine layers of complementary shades of magenta, red, orange, pink, green and yellow merino wool.
  • Fringe and embellishments include mohair locks; silk and bamboo fibers; specialty and novelty yarn; and angelina fibers.
